Sow from February to April in modules or outdoors from March to June (soil ≥ 10 °C) at 1 cm depth. Transplant at 4 true leaves with 30 × 30 cm spacing in rich, cool, well-drained soil in full sun. You may reseed in August–September for an autumn harvest. Harvest leaves and young shoots 60–80 days after sowing, before flowering.
