More info

Sow tomatillos February to early April at 20–24 °C / 68–75 °F in a propagator; prick out into pots when the first true leaves appear and harden off at about 15 °C / 59 °F. From mid-May, set plants in full sun, rich soil, 70 × 70 cm (28 × 28 in) apart, and grow at least two for reliable cross-pollination. Harvest late July to October when the papery husk dries and the fruit has expanded to fill it.
