Sow in a nursery (indoors or in a heated greenhouse): from mid-April, in individual pots, at a depth of 2–3 cm. Maintain a temperature of 18–20 °C for rapid germination. Transplant to open ground: from mid-May, once the risk of frost has passed (around “Saintes Glaces”). Direct sowing: possible from mid-May outdoors, when the soil has sufficiently warmed (minimum 12 °C).
