The BIO Valéry potato is a medium-early variety with a red skin and firm yellow flesh. Valued for its excellent taste, good productivity and storage ability, it is well suited for home gardens.

Growing tips:

  • Pre-sprouting: from February, place seed potatoes in a bright, cool (5-10 °C) and well-ventilated area.

  • Planting: in March in sheltered areas or April in open ground once frost risk has passed. Space plants 30–40 cm apart with 60–70 cm between rows, at around 10 cm depth. Earth up when plants reach about 15 cm.

  • Watering: moderate, only during prolonged dry periods when tubers are forming.

  • Harvest: from late June to early July, once foliage starts to yellow.

  • Storage: allow tubers to dry after harvest and store in a cool, dark and well-ventilated place.
