Very Shallow Nursery Sowing: Sow in a nursery from March to April at 20°C at a very shallow depth (as seeds need light to germinate). Transplant into pots at the 3‑leaf stage (at a minimum of 15°C) and transplant into the field from May 15 onward at 30 cm spacing in all directions.
