More info
Sow broccoli early March to late May under cover, or mid-April to mid-May outdoors once soil is ≥ 10 °C / 50 °F. Drill seed ½ in (1 cm) deep in rows 24 in (60 cm) apart; transplant or thin at the four-leaf stage to 20 in (50 cm) within the row. Grow in full sun on rich, cool, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Harvest firm heads 80–100 days after transplanting or direct emergence, before the buds loosen.
