More info
Sow ‘Groninger’ Brussels sprouts under cover February–March (½ cm deep in plug trays) or late March to mid-June outdoors once soil is above 10 °C / 50 °F. Transplant or thin at the 4–6-leaf stage to 50 × 75 cm (20 × 30 in) in rich, moist yet free-draining soil in full sun. Expect the first harvest 100–120 days after planting, starting in October and running through February; a light frost intensifies the sprouts’ sweetness.
